About Art2Art

In its inaugural year, Art2Art is a joint community collaboration that will showcase the artwork of Sooke regional artists and is staged to allow our local talented artists to demonstrate their specific inventiveness and creative practices, to exhibit their work in a prime venue and to sell their work to art lovers.  Twenty-six artists will be chosen to participate by a professional arts jury.  Artists will be on hand to discuss their inspirations, processes and techniques in order to spark interest, enlighten the public and to allow arts patrons to add to their collections while supporting local artists and creative regional youth.  There will be a Silent Auction comprising offerings of certificates for arts mentorship, instruction and private professional critique from participating artists, as well as objets d’art.  Proceeds from the show will go toward the Sooke Fine Arts Show Youth Scholarship fund.
